A trending post on social media has sparked mixed reactions after a married woman publicly expressed concern that her husband may value his own family more than hers.

Your husband is an inconsiderate ahole and his behavior should never be tolerated.
Our mantra a few years back was “No Gree For Anybody”. Not even your husband.
So, tomorrow withdraw N440K from your own personal account. Send N140K to his Mum and N300K to yours.
Announce it at the diner table.
No one has a monopoly on being an inconsiderate ahole 😉

This is just half told story. Was the money to his mum specifically for something or he just gave both of them money out of good will? Is that the normal ratio he gives them money? Is he the only child? Are you the only child? There are so many scenarios as to why this happened.

Ok, my point of view might not sound nice . My family is not my husband’s responsibility, and his family is not mine. Let’s be honest, how many husbands are added to their wife’s family groups or meetings, and how many wives are added to their husband’s own? We only do what we feel is right because marriage connects us, and that’s why they are called “in-laws”, not “family by blood”. Now let me ask you: if your mother-in-law slaps you, will your reaction be the same as when your biological mother slaps you? We all know the answer, and that answer explains everything else.
